Next Ventures urgently looking for a S oftware Architect
- BBachelor's or Master's degree in computer science or related field
- Overall IT Experience of 10-12 Years and Should have played the role of Software Architect for at least 3 to 4 Years
- At least 3 years of UML experience
- Breadth of Knowledge across all technologies [J2EE or Dot Net Technologies] so that he/she can be an advisor to Technical Architects/Solution Architects
- Possess TOGAF Certification - Not Mandatory but preferred
Job Description
- Identify the appropriate software architecture based on the requirements and design elements contained in a system specification.
- Record software architecture in a software architecture document using use cases and the Unified Modelling Language (UML).
- Maintain and evolve software architecture documents based on evolving system requirements and industry trends and technologies.
- Analyse risk and report problems in meeting system requirements.
- Provide supporting information to the Engineers to aid in the creation of a system specification.
- Assist Software Designer/Implementers with the creation of detailed software design specifications.
- Lead the review process for software architecture documents.
- Participate in the system specification review process to ensure system requirements can be translated into valid software architecture
- Comply with all applicable product development processes. Perform detailed software design as well as implements and/or maintains code according to duties and responsibilities
- Ensure the overall integrity of the software architecture and validates it against the system specification.
- May provide consultation on complex projects and is considered to be the top level contributor/specialist
- May guide a team of developers through the project to completion
- Typically reports to a head of a unit/department or top management
Other Expectations
- Automotive domain preferred but not mandatory
- Should possess knowledge on Big data analytics and cloud computing and should have designed applications in these areas
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- Ability to prioritize and manage work to critical project timelines in a fast-paced environment.
- Ability to develop new approaches to complex design problems
- Participates in the selection of solutions integrator as part of a consultation (RFI, RFP)
