Electrical Design EngineerAn Electrical Design Engineer is required to join a scientific research and development manufacturing company based in Manchester. A perfect opportunity for an experienced Electrical Design Engineer to work within a fast-paced, industry leading and entrepreneurial organisation.
A permanent position offering £30,000 - £40,000 (Dependent upon experience)
The client is an award winning international company that has designs, manufactures and supplies educational and marine test equipment worldwide. They specialise in designing Marine Hydrodynamic equipment and Automotive Research and Development. The company's products vary from components through to complete turkey solutions for research facilities worldwide. An Award winning client that aspires to be at the height of scientific research.
The Electrical Design Engineer position would best suit an individual who is keen to work within high standards of engineering and on the forefront of innovation with a passion for science and technology. Suitable to an enthusiastic engineer willing to take their career to the next level.

International travel (10 - 20 %) is guaranteed along with an autonomy over your own work that will always vary and never be the same as the last project.
Duties of the role include:
- Designing equipment using electrical CAD software
- Designing control and instrumentation systems
- Working as part of a multi-disciplinary team
- Instructing draftsmen and CAD technicians
- Creating bill of materials
- Software alteration in any of the following: VB, JAVA, HMI, PLC's or Drives
- Assisting with client installation documentation
Required experience of the following is necessary:
- Controls and Instrumentation
- Bespoke machinery
- PLC's
- Drives
