Position Title: ICD 10 Analyst

Location: Minneapolis, MN 55487

Work Type: W-2, Corp to Corp, 1099

Contact duration: 6 months + (strong possibility of extension)

Roles and Responsibilities:

  • In conjunction with other technical staff on the project team, work could include:
  • Develop and execute test plans to ensure the business requirements are functioning as expected. Functions in need of testing are CCMS (Managed Care System), reporting and diagnosis driven benefits such as chiro, med emergency, and acupuncture (this list is not inclusive to all benefits that need to be reviewed.)
  • Support QA functions as needed to ensure MHP is ICD10 compliant.
  • Develops and manages the plan to track and support all MHP ICD 10 business tasks, gaps, risks, and issues that need to be completed.
  • Collaborate with vendor management to capture and manage existing ICD 10 claims project dependencies.
  • Develops and manages the plan to track and support all ICD 10 business tasks that need to be completed.
  • Compile and distribute notes and recaps promptly after team and or management meetings.
    Develop status updates and other communications on an as needed basis.
  • Develops and/or delivers training; documents new or revised processes and procedures.
  • Updates Web sites that host project documents, reports, and/or group information.
  • Serves as point of contact for project information and updates.
  • Consider all aspects; break down tasks into all possible components and scrutinize tasks at the lowest level; be aware of each step in the process or application; gather complete information; track information and follow through.

Skill Sets Needed:

  • Prior ICD-10 implementation experience required
  • Testing and other QA experience required
  • Microsoft Project
  • Strong Excel experience required
  • Strong analytical and technical skills
  • Health Plan Claims Payer experience preferred. If not available will consider provider experience.
  • Good verbal and written communication
  • Prior experience with business office Back Office functions, government programs and/or the Facets product preferred

List of Deliverables, eg what the consultant(s) will be expected to accomplish: ­

  • Regular status reports
  • Weekly schedule with impact
  • Manage and update the plan, issues, and risks on a weekly basis
  • Follow issue management process and manage it in cooperation with project management
  • Other project documentation, as assigned (eg. Meeting minutes, communication, training plans etc)
  • Active project team member
