Universe/Unidata (Pick) Developer - Nottingham -

Description

I am currently recruiting for a Universe Developer who has extensive experience with Databasic, Universe and Pick to join an Agile organisation Nottingham. This is a 6 month contract starting towards the end of the August

You will be:-

* Designing software, focusing on software quality and design patterns

* Implementing quality software, providing solutions with highly testable and maintainable code

* User story driven development - working with business facing colleagues to obtain requirements, ensuring that stories meet an acceptance criteria and deliver value at the earliest possible opportunity

* Continuous improvement - Acting on the scrum metrics and retrospective feedback to maintain and continuously improve the performance of the team

* Actively participating in Scrum Ceremonies,

Experience required:

* Universe, Databasic, Pick

* Procedural programming

Beneficial but not essential:

* Agile software development experience

* SQL experience

* MongoDB, Spring, git, Unix, Web Services, BDD
