Description
FPGA Design Engineer/Digital Design/Hardware Design wanted for a multinational electronics company based in Surrey working on an urgent and exciting new project.
This is for an initial 3-6 months but is very likely to be extended.
FPGA Design Engineer/Digital Design/Hardware Design role:
This involves design of digital hardware including FPGA and PCB design and will also include some Embedded software design on bit microcontrollers.
You will be designing FPGA using VHDL and performing the verification on this, as well as hardware debugging and bringing up boards.
The Embedded software development involves using C and Assembler, and you will also be working on documentation of the designs.
FPGA Design Engineer/Digital Design/Hardware Design key skills:
FPGA design in VHDL.
Writing Embedded software in C (and Assembler ideally)
Lab Test Equipment
Analogue circuit design desirable
Experience of system level debug and test
