Apple & Microsoft Gold partner are recruiting for a hands-on Technical Lead for a six month contract

The role of the Technical Lead is primarily to join a very experienced and able development team:
- Provide expert application design guidance on solution system designs, redesigns for platform, performance and integration of new technical features and capabilities.
- Evangelization and mentoring within the internal development team.
- Ensure development team members are following standards and compliant with approved/agreed upon design and coding patterns.
- Be an active participant in the agile team - Leading by example.
- Create and maintain a prioritised list of engineering work for the product line.
- Communicate effectively with the development function and the rest of the business about best practice.
- Commitment to continuous improvement of code quality.
- Mentoring and performance management where necessary.
Competencies
- Previous Technical Lead experience.
- Strong programming skills in both Javascript and AngularJS
- C# Web Development (ASP.NET and MVC), HTML 5, CSS, JavaScript, JQuery, SQL Server, .NET Framework 4 and 4.5, Entity Framework 6
- Min 5+ years experience with C# and the .NET Framework
- Solid knowledge of ASP.NET MVC 5
- Experience with SQL Databases and Entity Framework
- Strong knowledge and real world experience of RDBMS
- Experience of architecting and building Azure Cloud based applications.
- Web service development (RESTful APIs).
- Knowledge and application of Unit testing, Test Driven Development and Automation.
- Not afraid to write documentation as and when needed.
- Positive attitude - get fun out of finding elegant solutions and team spirit
- Willingness to take responsibility for your work and deliver great results
