Description
My client has a two requirements for a highly experienced VB.NET Winforms Developer and a seperate role for a more hands off technical lead to work on a suite of trading tools and management applications that form the core content displayed on the clients site. This is not a web role but working on the Winforms applications that feed and push information to the website. This is an extremely interesting development environment and you will be working alongside some of the best developers out there for a client that will look good on even the most seasoned contractors CV.I have recruited for this client for over 5 years and it is an extremely good place to work working on huge systems in a fast paced, challenging and interesting environment where everyday is different.
Skills: (Tech Lead role is hands off but you need to be from this background)
- VB.NET / C# (Have to be happy to do VB.NET coding although the Tech Lead role is hands off)
- Winforms - Strong SQL Server Desirable:
- VB6 migration work to VB.NET
- Multithreading
- Any experience with Accurev and Jira would be useful but not essential
Location: West Midlands
Rate: £250 - £300
Contract Length: 3-6 Months initial with definite extensions
