Description

SAP System Administrator required with a solid financial/ banking background to join a client in Belgium for 48 months.

Nature of the task

The right candidate will be required to do the administration of SAP systems, covering: installation/setup, patching, migration, configuration, transporting, monitoring and tuning at the technical level, troubleshooting incidents in SAP and in systems linked to SAP, backups, refresh, testing interfaces and communications, participating in load testing and providing advice on the IT architecture.

The candidate will also write technical installation documents, technical documents, improving the processes and proposing solutions

Knowledge and skills
  • Working knowledge of different Sap software in an ABAP and/or Java environment.
  • Sound knowledge of Sap administration on Unix/Linux.
  • Expertise in complex SAP installations and migrations, including in environments with SOA middleware components.
  • Very good knowledge of Oracle administration
  • Sound knowledge of Linux/Unix/Windows administration.


Additional knowledge and skills (not mandatory but beneficial):
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft SQL Server.
  • Working knowledge of SAP HANA
  • Working knowledge of Oracle RAC/ASM
