Project description:
The Product Creation Application (PCA) team delivers services that assist the designers with the management of the complete design process. These are services to support project & pipeline management, requirements management, configuration management, engineering data analysis etc. The team is mainly located in Eindhoven, with small presence in Nijmegen, Hamburg and Kaohsiung. Within this team we are looking for a project manager in Eindhoven.
Your Tasks:
We are looking for a project manager with experience in data migrations systems like DesignSync and CollabNet. You will be leading a small team which will be responsible for the migration of projects (data & users) between different instances and security levels. It is however also expected from you that hands on support is provided if required.
Responsibilities:
- Define and deploy the migration strategy
- Create a migration planning
- Align migrations with data owners
- Identify the impact of a migration for the data owner
- Manage the creation of migration Scripting by the team
- Execute a proof of concept
- Migrate all the DesignSync and CollabNet data before our deadline of the 1st of December.
Deliverables:
- Migration plan
- Migration Scripting
- Proof of Concept
- All DesignSync and CollabNet migrations executed
- Acceptance of migrations by data owners
Specific Job Characteristics:
- Fast changing, international and high demanding environment
- Knows how to manage a migration project
- Familiar with PLM and SCM applications like CollabNet, SVN and DesignSync
- Has sufficient knowledge of Design Data Management tools to define a plan of approach for the migrations.
Your profile:
Skills:
- Project management experience within R&D Environment
- Knowledge of Design data management tooling like DesignSync and CollabNet is required
- Knowledge of software configuration management
- Experience with data migration between design data management systems is preferred.
- Knowledge of Scripting is preferred.
- Knowledge of Linux would be preferred.
