Description

Overview:
  • These two Electrical Engineering positions will support PCB, Flex circuit, Cables, and Connectors, Sensors and Battery Value capture efforts across both the DCS and EMC business units.
Responsibilities:
  • Provide support for the Electrical Engineering activities required to execute the Value Capture Initiatives across a range of commodities including PCBS, Flex Circuits, Cables and Connectors, Sensors, and Battery packs.
  • Design analysis and simulation
  • Detailed evaluation of the new parts through test and measurements
  • Support of necessary qualifications and pilot builds including failure analysis
  • Interface with suppliers to provide technical support
  • Generate and document recommendations and improvements
  • Design documentation updates and review
SKILLS:

Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent
  • A minimum of 5 years relevant Electrical Engineering design experience in a commercial production environment. - looking for someone who can hit the ground running out of the gate, not inventing quantum theory but the more exp they have in a developing real products, build more than 5 of something
  • Worked in an industry who has produced something that went into value production.
  • Design and analysis skills including troubleshooting skills for both Analog and Digital systems
  • Experience with manufacturing and assembly techniques used in volume production environments.
  • Battery safety and power circuitry experience a plus
  • Experience with general lab test and measurement equipment - oscilloscope, take lab measurements
  • Experience with Cadence design suite for Electrical design - process of taking schematics and putting into production, cadence, mentor, anything relative.
