Description
Functional Analyst | Belgium | Rate TBN | 4months contract Fluent in spoken and written English, Dutch and/or French.Main responsibilities:
- Translate the change request to one or more Software Change Request (SCR) documents
- Collects and clarifies Requirements
- Sets Use Cases on
- Changes specification documents (such as the Logical Data Model, Protocol Definitions, Component Dependencies, State Diagram, Sequence Diagram, Data Mapping) using tools such as IBM Rational XDE and Oracle Designer.
- Defines changes to subsystems and components and estimate the running times.
- Performs the RUP roles System Analyst and Requirements Specifier
- Setting up (high level) test scenarios on the basis of the specifications
- Technical analysis of the changes
- Support test activities where possible

Knowledge and professional skills:
Minimum 3-5 years experience as functional analyst
- Expert in identifying and understanding problems and their solutions.
- analytical, quality oriented, accurate, subject to time and budget constraints.
- Knowledge of analysis methods, functional domain knowledge
- Good communication skills, both documents, structured
- technical specifications in the oral collaboration with customers and colleagues.
- Driven, constructive and result-oriented
- Knowledge and experience with the RUP analysis methods.
- Experience with SCRUM approach is a plus
Good knowledge of
- UML modelling (Actors, Use Cases, Sequence Diagram, State Diagram, Class Diagram ...)
- ER analysis: ERD, normalization.
- modelling XML: XML Schema, WSDL
