Description
Our large, direct client needs an ETL Technology Manager at their Warren, NJ location for a 3 month contract (extensions are also possible).This person will:
- Provide thought leadership and guidance in the Data Design, Data Integration tool implementation and support of the Clients Data enterprise information management needs.
- Be responsible for the Data Integration/ETL component of the Client's overall Data Management Strategy.
- Work with the Data Integration Management AVP to create a standard Data Integration implementation and support strategy.
- Work closely with information architecture, infrastructure, data analytics and report delivery teams.
Required:
Minimum of 5 years increasing responsibility in leading ETL development and implementation teams
Eight to ten years of experience in a professional environment performing analysis, design and development tasks on ETL/DW/DBMS technologies
Development experience with Informatica PowerCenter & PowerExchange is desired.
Familiarity with the concepts of MDM and Data Lake
Strong leadership skills, business acumen and proven ability to deliver world-class results
Deep understanding of data flows, data architecture, ETL and processing of structured and unstructured data
Strong SQL skills and strong data analysis skills
Experience with the project life cycle and the application development life cycle
Experience with staff augmentation with the IT Industry
Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to interact with all levels within the organization
Experience with providing guidance and direction to staff as well as developing talent
Experience in initiating, conducting and facilitating discussions with multiple stakeholders, and ability to translate the results and issues at hand to the business and to the IT teams
Plusses:
BS/MS Degree
Ability to embrace change, adapt to the unexpected, and focus energies, people, and solutions on practical and positive results.
Experience in data profiling techniques and tools is a plus
Experience in the financial and insurance industry is a plus
