Description

Manhattan - Manhattan Developer/tester 6-12 month contract freelance based in Seattle WMOS Developer.

Manhattan WMS test analyst with good experience of warehouse inbound/outbound processes with preferred prior experience of working for a retail customer

The ideal candidate should have experience in

Work with business functional users in supporting business applications, defining requirements and implementing solutions for business and technical problems.

Analyze business processes, identify gaps or improvements and develop functional level solutions or revisions in process, procedure and operations. Analyze information requirements and needs, identify problems, provide technical advice and consultation, and ensure efficient computer systems utilization.

Analyze data and develop logical business application solutions to problems by working with the IT team and the user teams.

Must be able to work in a team environment with significant day-to-day contact with user groups and external consultants.

Develop and maintain a detailed understanding of the business processes and associated software Support primary use applications and functional areas including, but not limited to, Manhattan SCALE Warehouse Management.

Act as Subject Matter Expert in Supply Chain, Inventory, Warehouse Operations, Transportation, etc.

Develop, maintain and continuously progress in knowledge of all business functions.

Participate in the analysis and design system solutions, providing assistance and direction to development teams, leveraging a standard SDLC model from Concept, Analysis/Requirements through Development, QA, Implementation, and Decommission.

Understand and fully utilize ITIL-type methodology for responding to functional and technical issues, from incident management, assist in technical investigation to identify root causes, creating plans and mitigation for user processes.

Provide analysis and recommendations to consistently improve business processes and technology with analysis, providing both design and execution of training of customers, help desk personnel and system developers on new and existing processes.

Manages issues resolution with appropriate levels of urgency with customers, helpdesk personnel and developers using solid negotiation and conflict management skills, escalating to management
