An Innovative, high-tech business which designs cutting edge technology, is actively seeking a Software Team Lead Engineer to be involved in the design and development of embedded controller firmware and related drivers.
This is an exciting time to join a company at the forefront of the development of exciting forward thinking technologies, the role will also involve defining and implementing software development practices and processes and being involved in the development of more junior members of staff.
You will be responsible for:
Defining and implementing software engineering best practice and processes (Including version control and code reviews etc.)
To enable delivery of software products, initially to the automotive and industrial control sectors
Architectural design of embedded firmware and its interface
Testing of embedded firmware and its interface
Designing and developing device drivers
Ideally you will have a number of the following:
Experience leading a team / mentoring junior members of staff
Familiar with operating systems (RTOS OR QNX Desirable)
7 years + Experience in embedded C firmware design for microcontroller based systems
