Software Developer Pricing ToolsOur client is a bank with international approach located in Zurich. The firm offers a very professional environment where you will have the chance to use your skills within an experienced team.
We are looking for a contractor/consultant to work within a small team that sits at the intersection of financial strategy and technology.
Tasks
- Developing of tools and applications to support the trading desks of the bank
- Designing, implementation and testing based on the requirements of the trading teams
- Providing 3rd level support and user training for tools and applications
Requirements
- Several years of experience in Object-oriented Programming
- Hands-on experience in Java and related utilities/libraries, Spring Framework, Maven, Eclipse, Visual C++, QT
- Very good knowledge of messaging between services using JSON and Thrift on ActiveMQ and MQ
- Experience in modelling relational databases, Oracle, Hibernate, JBDC
- Good understanding of financial products, e.g. Options, Derivatives, and of market data
- Experience in implementing complex mathematical algorithms
- Proactive, resilient and reliable personality
- Fluency in English (written & spoken)
This is a fantastic contract opportunity to join a leading financial firm, working within an exciting and fast paced environment.
The assignment duration is planned until for end of 2016 (!). Start Date is ASAP.
