Wintel/VMware Engineer - 6 Months - LeedsA fantastic opportunity has arisen for a Wintel/VMware Engineer with one of Leeds' newest, but best IT consultancies. They have been on the go around 3 years and have growth their staff force from 3 to 18 and are planning to grow even more due to a huge amount of work being won with a large financial services client.
You will be part of a small team. Although small this team has been picked through very specific selection, as this client only hires from the top of the range candidate pool. You will be part of a large Virtualisation project, but you will also have some say in physical work.
Rate: £300-£350 pd, DOE
Location: Leeds City Centre
Length: 6 Months
Essential Skills:
- Strong working knowledge of VMware ESX Version 5.x or newer
- Strong working knowledge of Windows Server OS.
- HP Blades
- Any scripting tools is also beneficial(preferably Powershell)
- Understanding of CISCO networking is also preferable
Job Duties:
You will be working on a number of different virtualisation projects, but the main one being a large Datacentre virtualisation project for one of the companies large blue chip clients. You will be surrounded by some of the best IT professionals in the area so you can be guaranteed to pick up some really good key learns along the way!
