Job Title: Technical Officer
Location: RAF Menwith Hill, Harrogate
Contract: 10 months (with possible extension)
Rate: Upto £280 per day
Project Description:
- The Tech Officer Ops/Maint & Proj is accountable for ensuring they adhere and conform with all agreed DIO processes and operating procedures and instructions.
- They will have responsibility for liaising and coordinating with key internal and external stakeholders in a multi discipline environment requiring good verbal and written communication skills.
- Experience required in either mechanical, electrical or construction environment encompassing facility/infrastructure maintenance, repairs, injected minor new works & small projects (B&CE or M&E experience).
Duties may include (but are not limited to):
- Management and procurement of repairs, planned maintenance, refurbishment & infrastructure installation projects.
- Entering details of works in computer databases. Track, monitor and update work status with Contractors to ensure customer expectations and agreed completion dates are being met;
- Responsibility for providing support in delivering the environmental, health & safety, estate compliance and assurance portfolio iaw DIO and customer requirements .
Additional Information:
- IT literate. Familiar with basic IT systems. Office package.
- Recognized Building Qualification/M&E qualification. (Field of construction)
- Awareness of building regulations.
