Responsibilities
- Customisation and development of BI solutions. Also responsible for the support of previous created BI solutions. Key areas of responsibility include:
Fix any defects associated with previously developed BI solutions;
Carry out ad-hoc or routine tasks that are required to keep these BI solutions running;
To implement changes or releases to these solutions that are agreed with the customer;
- Technologies: Microsoft: SQL Server Data Marts, SSIS as ETL platform, Power BI
- Work: Support of ESB Trading's Data-mart and a BI application called FADS. Support of Electric Ireland's Data-mart that is used as a source for a single view of a Customer and for Customer Analytics.
- Project work includes upgrades of the data-mart, new ETL routines for new sources.
Requirements
- Strong SSIS experience
- ETL Knowledge
- SQL Server
- Excellent customer facing skills
- Ability to work with business and technology partners
- Experience in financial sector preferred
