Dear Candidate
I am looking for an experienced Data Controller to work on a time critical project in Lincoln. All applicants must be methodical, excellent organisation and filing capability, good attention to detail and an excellent communicator. Ideally you will have experience of doing something similar on an air platform or within an airworthiness capacity.
Aim/Objective(s):
To process and save current documents into a defined structure within MOSS.
Task Description:
There is also the ongoing requirement to Support IKM and a new file structure and to support the migration of documentation into MOSS and Meridio. The TAA must have robust management of data architecture containing Legacy and contemporary data with simple filing, retrieval and sharing protocols in order to comply with MRP RA1130.
Information data coordination tasks are:-
a.to transfer information from the multiple media sources, including GROUP NTFS folders, onto MOSS in the appropriate file structure (as defined by the IKM).
b.to assign appropriate metadata to each file to facilitate the storage of information on Meridio.
c.to identify if there are any uncertainties to the identification of the file content. These are to be listed and discussed routinely (weekly) with the IKM manager, drawing on the EA Team and SQEP Squad as necessary.
d.To prevent recurrence of the issue of uncontrolled documentation, assist the IKM in developing training aids and deliver localised training for the project team.
The size of the problem is as follows:
i.There are 43,690 files to organise and transfer.
ii.At an average transfer rate of one document every 3 minutes, this will need 292 work days of effort to complete (does not take into account other activities defined in this task, eg reporting)
iii.Goals for number of documents to be transferred, are to be agreed between the IKM and the appointed candidate at the start of the task.
Due to the nature of this role. All applicants must be SC cleared or clearable and ITAR compliant.
