DESCRIPTION:
Responsible for all aspect of QA, from writing test strategy, test plan, test cases to executing tests; from defect triage process to test closure reports. Candidate should have excellent test lead experience to assist the test lead in driving all aspects of QA activities independently. The incumbent needs to communicate test progress, test results, and other relevant information to project stakeholders and management.
SKILLS:
- Must have excellent communication skills.
- A university/college degree
- 5+ years of Capital Market functional testing experience.
- Play dual roles as QA lead as well as QA Tester.
- In-depth hands on testing experience of SimCorp Dimension application.
- Direct hands on experience in writing SQL queries
- Proven data analysis, data verification, and problem-solving abilities.
- Excellent Test case creation knowledge
- Experience with all types of testing - functional, SIT, Regression, migration, etc.
- Knowledge of HP ALM test tool - specifically the Testing and Defects modules.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision - from planning, test case creation, execution, report and closure.
- Experienced with writing Test Strategy, Test Plan and closure report.
- Strong verbal and written communication/negotiation skills
- Ability to work independently in a fast changing environment.
- Ability to create clear and concise testing documents
OTHER ASSETS:
- Knowledge of Collateral Manager Module in SimCorp
- Experience in functional testing all aspect of SCD SimCorp Dimension (Inbound, outbound, transaction workflow (SWIFT) and downstreams).
- Experience working with other capital market applications (OpenLink Findur, Proswap, Quantum Phinance etc.)
- Knowledge of different types of reports in SimCorp (Provider, etc.)
- Knowledge/experience using HP ALM for dashboards and reporting.
- Hands-on experience with writing SQL Queries and SQL Scripts
- Experience with QA automation
- Knowledge of industry standard SDLC and Testing Methodologies
- Knowledge/experience in working with and building applications in MS Excel (VBA, Excel functions, Using add-in) an asset
- Strong interests and background in quantitative areas an asset
