Application (Front-end) Developer RoleLocation: Cork
Contract Length: 3 Months w Extension

You will be working on application development, within a fast-paced environment where you will take ownership of your own projects.
The ideal candidate should be able to develop creative and innovative applications to meet business requirements, incorporating front end design. The company is at an exciting point in its growth with employees using imagination and innovation to develop and distribute stock media products.
Based at their Cork office, your role will include developing new solutions, while updating and enhancing current application and in-house custom administration and complex data manipulation tools skills
? Be innovative, creative, flexible and self-directed, and an excellent communicator.
? Familiarity with functional design methodologies
? Ability to design and write high-performance, reliable, and maintainable code
? Must be able to formulate own testing cases & technical documentation
? Ability to quickly learn, understand, and support existing website and administration tools.
? Expert knowledge and proven experience of application development
? Strong ability to integrate front-ends with back-end systems
? Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills
Skills Required;
? Object Oriented Programming, Internet Systems Development, Model View Controller.
? UI / UX experience a must
? Demonstrable knowledge of javascript frameworks (angular, jquery)
? Demonstrable knowledge of design frameworks (twitter bootstrap, jquery ui)
? Demonstration of strong knowledge of PHP, MySQL, JavaScript, JSON, REST are essential
? Basic knowledge of Linux required.
? Previous experience with consuming REST services
? Up to date with modern web practices and emerging technologies.
