Digital Editorial Assistant - Sharepoint 2013 - Subbing - Digital Media

My leading broadcast and Media client is looking for an excellent Digital Editorial Assistant to come aboard their team helping to produce and upload cutting edge media conetent (text, images & some video.) The successful candidate will have experience Subbing and using Sharepoint 2010 Or 2013. This role will offer the opportunity to create some origional content, and expand your skills as a Digital Editor.

Key Responsibilities:

  • This is a hands-on role and you will be required to produce and upload a large volume of content (both text, images and some video) within tight timescales whilst prioritising your own workload and managing your own time
  • You will also need to source images ensuring appropriate the rights clearance
  • The role will involve some creation of original content as well as re-writing, subbing and deleting Legacy content. You will also need to quickly become an operational expert on the Intranet's CMS
  • You will need to liaise closely with key business and editorial stakeholders to ensure timely delivery of content/assets and ensure you are proactively dealing with issues and escalating as appropriate
  • You will also support the Content Producers to help deliver a world class Intranet content proposition

Required experience:

  • Extensive experience of online content production life cycle
  • Proven experience in CMS systems Sharepoint 2013 and other Microsoft enterprise systems
  • Proven experience in quickly and consistently uploading and publishing digital copy to tight timescales
  • A high-standard of editorial judgement, online copywriting and sub-editing
  • Proven experience of diplomatically dealing with stakeholders to ensure timely delivery of content and assets
  • Experience of contributing to a large corporate or public sector Internet/Intranet
  • A skilled user of standard web tools and software packages including image manipulation
