I am currently working with an Acute Trust based in the West Midlands to secure the services of an Interim Named Nurse for Children's Safeguarding
This is an opportunity for a highly motivated and experienced nurse to work as the Interim Named Nurse for Safeguarding Children. This full time post will give you the opportunity to lead and manage an innovative safeguarding children's team to deliver a responsive and efficient service across the organisation.
The successful applicant will be committed to providing and developing a high quality safeguarding service to all staff within this organisation whilst also supporting the integration agenda with the local authority and partner agencies.
The successful Interim will need excellent communication skills, have the ability to prioritise their time and work on their own initiative and also demonstrate flexibility to meet the needs of the service
** Please note this position will require your own transport (mileage will be paid) **
Working closely with the Executive children's lead and Named Doctor to ensure all service lines are aware of their responsibilities.
You need to be a first level RN with a post registration qualification as a specialist practitioner with extensive experience of safeguarding and child protection. You will have to demonstrate extensive experience with safeguarding and child protection along with evidence of continued professional development.
This is a full time post working 37.5 hrs for a period of 3 months, although as this vacancy has arisen due to upcoming maternity leave there is a potential to extend should the trust be unsuccessful in recruiting via NHS Jobs
