Description
My client is a large Logistics company within the Midlands and they are looking for a Business Intelligence Developer for a 6 Month Contract.The successful candidate will have experience in this sector and will have at least 3 years experience of using the full BI stack.
The ideal candidate would be an experienced BI Developer who can work both with minimal supervision and as part of a team and who has strong visualisation and a graphical eye. In this position you would be hands on technically but also overseeing a team of three analysts providing them with mentoring and technical advice when needed. Previous management experience is not a requirement.
Desirable Experience: * Extensive experience working with the whole SQL BI Stack * The ability to write complex SQL queries and SQL script * Experience creating OLAP Cubes *
The ability to confidently engage with managers and senior stakeholders within the business * Previous experience with requirement gathering and putting together briefs
The position is based in Northampton
It is a 6 month contract
The rate is between £375 - £425 per day depending on relevant experience.
This position would suit someone who previously worked in a logistics environment.
