Description
An experienced Frontend PHP Developer with Zend Framework experience, is required by one of the largest telecom companies in Belgium for a long term mission starting as soon as possible. This opportunity will give the successful candidate the responsibility of analysing and leading the Front End Development of one of our clients main customer facing websites.
Job description:
*Responsible for analysis and website updates for Front End development
*Manage and optimize existing content pages - recommend best web practices and/or required enhancements to optimize customer experience
*Responsible of quality assurance and testing (PHPUnit, Selenium) including maintenance and optimization (including problem and issue resolution)
*Share knowledge and best practices with other team members
*Promote flexibility and re-usability of the code
*Respect and meet delivery dates
*Possess multi-tasking skills and is able to work under some pressure
Profile:
*Advanced knowledge of PHP5.4
*Capable of analysing and designing Object Oriented code (ie Zend Framework)
*Development experience in Zend Framework
*Knowledge of several caching systems
*Advanced hands on experience with Javascript, CSS and HTML5.
*Working knowledge of SVN or any modern source control management tools.
*Exposure to Linux Scripting
*Awareness of cross-platform and cross-browser issues for web pages
Candidate must be fluent in English - French or Flemish/Dutch would be an advantaged.
