My client based in Amsterdam, The Netherlands, requires an SAP Security & Authorisations consultant to join them for an initial 3 month contract with the option for further extension.
Information Services has a worldwide responsibility for all IT processes, solutions and services. The aim is to further enhance Global Functions by delivering common business driven solutions and services. The Application Management Services (AMS) department supports and maintains all global applications. AMS primarily will act as a control function and manage vendors based on budget and service performance, engage with business at an operational level and also drive standardisation of operational processes through the Global Service Desk across the globe. The Business Application Support (BAS) teams are primarily responsible for all aspects of support, maintenance and sustainability of global applications including its retirements and transition to replacement. The BAS team acts as a gatekeeper for commonality, standardization of the solution template as was designed and implemented.
Description of activities:
- The BAS Specialist has a key role in GIS service delivery towards the business. He/she acts as a guardian or gatekeeper for driving commonality, standardization of the solution template as was designed and implemented as fit for purpose and is responsible for support and maintenance throughout its life cycle. He/she builds and maintains operational level business relationship and a key user network in the business.
- The BAS specialist ensures delivery of small change requests, ICT expertise and monitors and ensures that the performance, availability, stability and security of the assigned systems, services and applications are according to the agreed service levels
- Ensuring that applications are meeting or exceeding service specifications, eg on Performance, Availability, Stability and Security.
- Involvement in (setting up) IT security framework and security consciousness of the IT Organization.
MUST HAVE EXPERIENCE:
- SAP Security & Authorization knowledge on various SAP ERP (mandatory) and other SAP Solutions, eg CRM, BI/BW, SRM, Solution Manager, others
- Intensive knowledge of the SAP GRC and/or SAP IDM suites
- (Conceptual) Security & Authorization knowledge of and experience with other applications, eg Navision, SAS
- Used to work in complex ITSM/ITIL environment with corresponding process knowledge (multinational)
- Audit affinity or experience
Nice to Have:
- ITIL
- Specific SAP and application-independent application security knowledge
- Capable of understanding business process, functional designs and technical solutions
Languages:
- Must be fluent in Dutch
