Infrastructure Design LeadAn Infrastructure Design Lead is urgently required for a leading financial services company to join their team on a contract role.
Working within a dynamic IT department, you will be responsible for the design of infrastructure solutions, IT services and cost estimates on Bank technology projects in line with IT Strategy & Architecture principles, directives and blueprints.
Your main responsibilities of this role will involve, leading infrastructure design & taking on complex ideas, objectives or problems & working them through to simple solutions based on agreed principles & patterns, providing accurate estimates to Infrastructure Delivery Leads for inclusion in end to end project costs & business cases & acting as a technical escalation point.
You must have very strong knowledge of Mainframe environments mainly IBM Mainframe hardware & z/OS, experience in Middleware & Integration including IBM MQ, WebSphere & Connect-Direct, strong Financial Services experience & strong communication & stakeholder management skills as these will be vital parts of your role.
The role is based in Manchester, offering a daily rate of between £500-£550 on a 6 Month term.
