Position Title: 67277-Senior Database Developer

Location: Greenwood Village, CO 80111

Work Type: W-2

Contract duration: 5months + (Strong possibility of extension)

Description:

The Senior Database Developer will have the primary responsibility for ensuring the successful Design, Engineering, Testing, and Deployment of Database solutions for Endpoint systems in the client environment.

In addition to the job description please provide the following information:

  • Develop quality database solutions
  • Gather solution requirements
  • Interact with Internal and external teams
  • Implement database solutions following service level agreements and change management policies
  • Consistently demonstrate service behaviors and principles defined by the client Service Quality Credo, Mission, as well as specific departmental/organizational initiatives.
  • Consistently demonstrate the knowledge, skills, abilities, and behaviors necessary to provide superior and culturally sensitive service to each other, to our members, and to purchasers, contracted providers and vendors.

    • Top 3-5 Required Skills:

    • Develops specifications of and performs quality database development to support required functionality
    • Manages small to medium projects. Develop and execute project plans
    • Participates in the development and maintenance of a business and information systems architecture
    • Conducts evaluation of new and existing business application systems to permit development of integrated systems that maximize business value
    • Recommends changes to current business practices to take advantage of new technologies
    • Keeps abreast of leading and emerging hardware/software products and technologies as well as with industry standards and trends, and external policies, standards and regulations to support healthcare business
    • Leverages existing skills and knowledge to research new technologies and methodologies
    • Compares and evaluates the design and capabilities of multiple systems (eg, architecture, network, operations and communications)
    • Recommends technology solutions which include components, platforms, techniques and processes to support manual and automated business processes and information systems
    • Plans and coordinates communication strategies and mechanisms
    • Provides technical support and training externally and internally on new/emerging standards, procedures, tools, methodologies, and technologies
    • Participates in the development of the enterprise standards
    • Conducts evaluation of new and existing systems life cycle methodology and tools to permit development of integrated systems
    • Acquires, tests, creates and integrates new technologies until usable
    • Synthesizes and implements new solutions to satisfy current and/or future business needs
    • Analyzes, designs, and develops specifications of advanced technologies
    • Creates implementation plans
    • Performs/facilitates integration with other systems and processes
    • Researches, analyzes, and develops the design of human-computer interfaces
    • Develops and enforces System Development Lifecycle, programming standards and change management

    Desired Skills:

  • Master's degree.
  • Extensive knowledge of operating systems and software automated deployment.
  • Prior experience in enterprise-scale managed environments is a must, as well as having developed large-scale Windows server-client implementations.
  • MCSE or equivalent certification highly preferred
  • ITIL V3 certification highly preferred
  • Project Management methodologies
  • Windows Desktop Operating Systems (Win 7, Win 8, Win 10, Mac OS, Linux)
  • Windows Server Operating Systems (Windows 2003, 2008, 2012)
  • Hardware Platform Lifecycle Management (Desktops, Laptops, and Tablets)
  • Application Virtualizations and Desktop Virtualizations solutions (Citrix, VMWare, Symantec Workspace Virtualization, etc.)
  • Software distribution tools and packaging methodologies (Symantec CMS, Microsoft SCCM, IBM Bigfix, Tanium, Flexera, etc.)
  • Remote Control Access
  • Endpoint Patch and Policy Management
  • Programming: C#, HTML, XML, ASP.NET, VBScript, JavaScript, AJAX, Web Services, CMD, Batch, CSS, T-SQL, Stored Procedure, ETL, and Analysis Services, Powershell
  • Familiar with BMC Remedy, Lotus Notes, Sametime, Office 365 applications
  • Proven experience working in a technical engineering environment
  • Consistently demonstrate knowledge, skills, abilities, and behaviors necessary to provide superior endpoint services
