Commercial Manager

I am currently looking for a Commercial Manager in the Gas Industry for an initial 6 month contract and an IMMEDIATE start The candidate would be based out of the North West with travel to a gas compressor station up in Scotland for a couple of days a week. Experience: Client and key stakeholder management and pro-active communication Experience in the use of Earned Value Management (EVM) for major gas construction projects Experience of both Option A and Option C NEC contracts specifically used on major UK Construction Projects. Experience of negotiation and settlement of claims Experience of contractual dispute resolution process within the Oil and Gas, Energy, or Utilities industry Experience of Construction board report production Experience of working on a number of projects simultaneously, with excellent time management and organisation skills Experience of the risk management process for both schedule and cost analysis. Experience of managing a team of site based Quantity Surveyors and planners Experience of Procurement processes (QVD,PPQ,RFP) and has experience in tender production and evaluation specific to complex projects. Qualifications: Degree qualified with a minimum of Ten years Gas industry experience OR HNC/HND qualified with ba minimum of 12 years Gas industry experience.
