Description
Background: My client is a Brussels based international bank looking for a Citrix System Engineer to provide, as a team member, Infrastructure and IT Security support & architecture.
Tasks:
You will join the support team to provide Citrix infrastructure and application support (2nd & 3rd level) toward the bank's end users (IT) and Onsite/Remote support.
In detail:
- Client Automation (CAT): Automate and Document the deployment of client applications for Desktops, Laptops and Citrix environments;
- Onsite & Remote Support team: Provide support for all applications delivered via Citrix & in Native;
- Office Infrastructure Engineering: Be the technical authority for the Citrix platform and workstations;
- Email and Messaging Engineering and Support: Provide support for all Notes and BlackBerry applications;
- Change Management: Organise the monthly release.
You must have excellent interpersonal skills" - as you will be dealing with people all the time - ie. similar to Help Desk.
Essential skills:
Minimum 3 years experience in large Citrix environments including Laptops & Desktops running under Windows 7, with SCCM experience.
The team's main tasks are to provide windows 7 and local application support (2nd & 3rd level) toward End Users (IT) - one of the main task will be to follow the monthly security patching.
Operating Systems: Windows 7;
Server Products: SCCM in a Day to Day environment;
Programming & Scripting Products: General Scripting under Windows
Office Application: Broad application knowledge is a plus.
