Summary:- SQL Server Database Engineer to join our Dev Team to provide development and analytical support for an array of in-house SQL Server databases and SSIS packages.
- This position will be responsible for organizing, integrating, and managing data feeds from various sources using SSIS.
- The Database Developer should have experience working in a team based Microsoft environment (TFS).
- It is imperative that the person we hire for this position rapidly raises the bar and sets a new standard for how we manage SSIS package development, testing, and deployment, with a solid foundation built on practical and proven best practices.
Required:
- Microsoft SQL Server development experience
- Comfortable building a proper database schema (database design)
- SSIS
- SSRS
- T-SQL
- SQL Server Data Tools
- Proven ability to write reusable and clean code
- You aren't afraid to use Google to find answers
- Team Foundation Server (TFS)
- Database back-up and maintenance plans
- Security(configuring roles to integrate with Windows)
- Comfortable enforcing data integrity with foreign-key relationships
- CLR (for SQL Server)
- C#
- .NET
- Si-Sense, QlikView, Tableau, or similar experience
- Experience transforming XML from 3rd party APIs to MS SQL Server
- Excellent oral and written communicator
- Ability to work well in large and small teams
