Description
Summary:- Responsible for engine structures and dynamics development/validation of engine components and systems by evaluating complex failure modes and providing technical guidance/expertise for the purpose of providing NPI/CPI product solutions.
- The incumbent will perform such job functions as utilizing data acquisition systems (eDAQ, TEAC: LX10, GX1, LMS), analysing data (linear vibrations, stress/strain), performing modal testing, setting up tests (instrumenting/gaging as appropriate).
- This position will be accountable for establishing strong ties with the client while at the same time creating a pull as opposed to push FMEA collaboration while driving strong interaction with VPD (Virtual Product Development).
Minimum Requirements:
- Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering or Agricultural Degree, Masters degree preferred.
- 1 to 2 years of post -graduate experience in dynamics, vibrations, or Modal testing.
- Proficient with data acquisition systems, such as EDAQ or LMS, and accelerometers as well as strain gages
