My client, a leading automotive manufacturer, based in Warwickshire, is looking to recruit an Electrical Systems Engineer to join their Electrical Engineering division on a long-term contract basis.

Position Description:
Technical contribution to the Future display strategy and technology roadmap.
Development, creation and maintenance of test procedures and for visual performance.
Application of test procedure to benchmark vehicles, and technologies to good understanding of competitor best practice.
Support core Electrical Advanced Product Creation in the collation and maintenance of Infotainment content within the Programme Feasibility and product definition documents.
Identify cost, packaging and weight implications of feature requirements and work with Core Team Packaging Team to determine solutions and impact assessments.
Support the delivery of Infotainment Research projects into programmes up to the core development gateways.
Support regular Electrical pre-development content and cost reviews.
Experience Required - Key skills:
Physics/Engineering based degree in a relevant discipline, or relevant experience in Infotainment delivery
Experience with Infotainment systems
Experience with Automotive Electrical systems
Experience with defining and documenting project status for gateway deliverables
Self Starter and ability to work unsupervised
Good Communicator
Excellent writing skills
Conceptual and analytical thinker
Experience Preferred:
CE device development and testing experience
Automotive Infotainment systems experience
Feature delivery, requirements capture, etc.
Education Required:
Displays industry experience
Experience working in international organisations
Computer Science/Programming skills HTML, Linux, TIZEN
