My client, a leading automotive manufacturer, based in Warwickshire, is looking to recruit a Program Quality Engineer to join their Manufacturing Engineer division on a long-term contract basis.

Role: Program Quality Engineer
Quality Engineer, Quality Engineer, Project Engineer, 8D, FMEA, Design, Development, Warwickshire
Skills Required:
Failure Mode Avoidance tools and techniques.
Program Management.
Involvement in creation of Engineering Standards and Design Rules.
Skills Preferred:
Ability to work with cross functional teams under minimum supervision.
Able to coach and lead/influence the teams.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Experience Required:
Project manage component design failure modes.
Evidence of root cause analysis and robust implementation.
Experience in a Project Engineer role is required.
Please Note: Non-automotive experience is also suitable.
Experience Preferred:
Knowledge of product development design milestones, from virtual series to launch.
Education Required:
Degree in a technical subject.
Education Preferred:
DFMEA/6 Sigma training.
Additional Information:
This role will be a 30 hour working week and some travel to Solihull may be required.
The expectation of the role is that the candidate has a good working knowledge of the tools listed above and also has had the opportunity to experience the launch of a new product.
