Business analyst - Financial Planning - wealth management

Our client, a leading UK Wealth management organisation which provide services such as Discretionary and Advisory investment management, Investment execution and Financial Planning services to private clients.

They are currently looking for a (Senior Business Analyst Hybrid) to join their extremely experienced London based team. The current Financial Planning (FP) processes have significant elements which are manual/paper based which are considered to be not fit for purpose and time consuming.

The team are implementing a new IT application which will automate the Financial Planning suitability and significant amounts of Front Office elements. The senior management team have since identified further room for improving efficiency and consistency but this will depend on the success of the system roll out. The role holder will help to create the As-Is and target operating processes.

Essential skills/experience required for Business Analyst - Financial Planning Team:

  • Extensive experience managing and defining Current and target business processes.
  • Experience of Financial Planning for HNW individuals.
  • Ability to engage with FP team members to ascertain roles within the team and how this will affect the TOM.
  • Experience of working within a financial planning environment within larger organisations.
  • Extensive business improvement/Re-engineering, ideally within an FP environment.
  • Process change management experience.
  • Excellent stakeholder management.
  • Excellent change management experience within a wealth management environment.
  • Full suite of analytical skills developed through experience and not qualification alone.
  • Autonomous self-starter able to work with minimal supervision within a fast paced environment.

Desirable experience

  • Wealth/Asset management experience.
