Description
Senior .Net/Sql Developer required for public sector client who is looking for experienced software developers who can quickly learn their systems and deliver against objectives without close supervision.
Essential Experience:
- ASP.NET 4.0 including Web Forms and MVC 4
- HTML, CSS and JavaScript experience
- Microsoft SQL Server
- Experience using an Agile software development methodology such as SCRUM
- ASP.NET XML Web Services/WCF
- Interoperability with other applications using SOAP HTTP Web Services.
Desirable:
- TDD
- Experience of developing healthcare systems for the NHS or private sector
Key Tasks:
- Developing a new module of a C# and ASP.NET application to support an emergency supply service
- Making necessary enhancements and changes to the Back End SQL Server database
- Making other enhancements to existing modules of the application
- Ensuring the quality of the software delivered to the test team, by conducting sufficient unit testing
- Producing functional and technical design documentation
