Commercial Banking have a requirement for a MS Access/ VBA skilled developer to build and support a reporting solution for the Conduct and Risk reporting team. The role will initially be for 6 months and will report into the Data & Business Services team within Commercial Banking. * The successful applicant will have a good general understanding of a Commercial Banking - understanding the different products and services which a Commercial Bank offers and also a good knowledge of Ms Access and VBA.
* The successful applicant will be familiar with developing reporting solutions in Ms Access and have a track record of successfully delivering reporting solutions to budget and timescales. The applicant will be familiar with SQL and knowledge of larger database applications such as SQL Server, Teradata and Oracle.
Accountabilities:
* Accountable for the development and ongoing support of the CRAM reporting solution
* Establish and maintain effective working relationships with key stakeholders * Recognise and pro-actively implement improvements within the CRAM reporting infrastructure - identifying opportunities for process efficiency and improvements in data quality.
* Understand and apply industry best practise when designing MS Access reporting solutions
* Highlight and escalate any known issues to the Project Manager and Business sponsor
* Ensure compliance with the Bank's IT and business architecture
