Software Developer - Video Content Specialist - Java/C++/C# - Contract
We are looking for a Software Developer (Java/C++/C# or other modern programming languages) with a specialism in video content delivery, web caching, web accelerators and building CDN's (Content Deliver Networks) such as Varnish, Level 3, Akamai, Limelight etc.
The successful software developer will have strong experience in Server Side software development of video content solutions using any modern programming languages such as Java/Scala/C#/C++ or others (current tech stack is predominantly Java and Scala).
Experience with various CDN's is highly desirable (Akamai, Level 3, Varnish, Limelight or other - predominantly using Varnish at the moment)
We are looking for a specialist to join this new team and to build a team around, your opinions and knowledge will be highly valued in building this new team with an aim of shaping how we deliver video content in the future - starting by changing the way this already cutting edge, market leading, global media company delivers media all over the world.
Key Skills:
