Infrastructure Services Engineer - Exeter - £35,000 + BenefitsExciting opportunity for an Infrastructure Services Engineer to join a well-established company based in Exeter.
As an Infrastructure Services Engineer you will respond to incidents raised though automated system alerts and triggers and via the first line service desk.
In addition, you will respond to issues with application services and hardware which are impacting or causing risk to service availability. This will include investigating issues with application software, Operating systems, Server hardware, Networking, Compute Virtualisation and Storage infrastructure.
Responsibilities
Ensure the smooth functioning of Solution infrastructure ; liaise with application support, developers, product managers, suppliers and other analysts as required to this end
Support in responding to users calls, diagnosing and deciding on the most appropriate solution; to liaise with the system suppliers or other Landmark colleagues to ensure their speedy resolution.
Use the helpdesk database to track progress of problem resolution, keeping the Group Services teams and users informed.
