ASP.Net / C# / MVC Developer required for a leading 6 month contract in ChesterASP.Net / C# / MVC Developer required for a 6 month role with an exciting Logistics sector client in Chester. With a challenging, yet very interesting new project that will enable them to expand their web application portfolio and venture into new Greenfield projects this client have a great opportunity to the right Developer
This will suit a .Net developer who is ready to get stuck into an ongoing project, as the client needs to make changes, improve functionality and bug fixing in this flagship project for the business..
The job will be initially for 6 months, paying up to £350 per day (this works out at about £80, 000 per annum)
Duties:
Communication with the manager is essential so previous experience with Development projects with 1 or 2 departments is highly beneficial.
As a senior level developer you will be expected to bring in a high level / quality of code and a passionate attitude towards coding and Development.
Bring an enthusiasm and bout of new ideas. My client are looking for someone who think outside of the box.
Skills:
As the successful ASP.NET developer you will have a varied and exciting role;
- You will be re design & analyses the system and improve the functionalities in ASP.Net, HTML, CSS, Javascript and MVC
- You must have prior commercial experience with either Winforms, Webforms, WCF or WPF the ideal candidate will have a range of these skills with examples of prior delivery
- Experience with additional Javascript libraries such as Node. Angular etc… would be highly beneficial
- Any background of Entity framework or projects with Windows mobile Developer is not essential but would be a great asset to your application
- A history or working to an Agile methodology with TDD and BDD would be highly beneficial as the client are very keen to bring best practice to the organisation
- You will be able to write stored procedures in SQL Server.
- You will be a natural communicator who is comfortable with working on multiple, concurrent tasks on a project.
- You will be responsible for Unit testing your coding too.
