OPERATIONS ANALYST (SALES) - 6 MONTH CONTRACT - BASED IN ST. PAULS, LONDON

Bank of America Merrill Lynch is currently seeking to recruit an Operations Analyst to join the FICC Sales division to be based in their offices in St Pauls, London.

We are looking to recruit a analytical individual who can work in a busy Trading environment. This role is suitable for a graduate who is looking to pursue a career within Banking. We are seeking a high energy individual who is keen to be part of a small team that has broad responsibilities and a wide-reaching remit.

Key skills for an Operations Analyst:

*Excellent MS Excel skills (pivot tables)
*Analytical mindset and ability to analyse large data sets.
*Degree qualified, or equivalent
*Some experience within a Tier 1 Bank and/or Investment Management organisation.
*Proven communication skills - both written and verbal.
*Strong 'can-do' attitude and the willingness to learn new skills.

Responsibilities of an Operations Analyst:

*Senior Management support - support with internal and external presentations (public forums, client meetings and town halls)
*Business planning and budgeting - conducting annual planning exercise on a bottom's up basis for Global FICC Sales.
*Sales strategy projects - Review particular Sales teams, client segments, regions, products and channels from a wallet and gap perspective and develop execution plans to capture share.
*Third Party Consultant Management - work with external service and survey providers
*Administrative tasks - Expense and Market data management, analysis of travel and expenses.
