As an IT Development Engineer Factoring & Working Capital Solutions (F&WCS), you fulfil a crucial role with regard to translating business requirements into high-quality technical solutions, together with the other Development- and Operations Engineers in your team (DevOps team). You will get all the space you need to contribute your knowledge of business and IT to developing best-in-class data solutions that optimize the business processes within various Factoring & Working Capital Solutions across the world.
Your main task areas/ fields of result are Senior IT Dev Engineer (Magic/XPA/Java) (QR3420) :
1. Detailing user stories during refinement sessions;
2. Specifying and programming changes in two-weeks' sprints;
3. Building and testing applications;
4. Participating in the further implementation of Continuous Delivery tooling, specifically in the field of automated testing.
Apart from these, you actively participate in the Scrum process and in Continuous Delivery Engineering Practices. This includes taking part in Sprint demos, Stand-Ups as well as in Retrospectives. And since good teamwork is essential to achieving the best results, you obviously play a positive role within your DevOps team and you invest - now and in the future - in the knowledge available within your team.
You have: Senior IT Dev Engineer (Magic/XPA/Java) (QR3420)
- Completed a bachelor's degree in a technical IT study (Computer Science or in another relevant field of studies);
- At least 5 years' relevant work experience in a business environment within a large organization;
- Basic knowledge in the field of accounting;
- Knowledge of and experience with working according to the Agile/Scrum method as well as with the DevOps method;
- Knowledge of and experience with modern programming languages and methods. Experience with - Magic/XPA and/or JAVA is considered to be an advantage.
- Also, you are fluent in Dutch and English, both spoken and in writing.

As an IT Development Engineer F&WCS, you and approximately 8 enthusiastic and professional colleagues work together in a DevOps team from Bunnik (The Netherlands).
The department is set up at a location where business activities are taking place as well and this brings you into direct contact with your (internal) customers on a day-to-day basis.
Working in F&WCS means working in a professional, dynamic and international department in a continuously changing and complex environment. Our core application has been developed with the aid of the 4GL development environment Magic. There is a lot of scope for innovation, you will be working according to the highest quality standards and in everything you do the customer's interests prevail.
