For a client of our in the telecom sector, we are looking for a test, design and architecture security and system engineer. You will be working on an infrastructure project at a large European Institution.

Context: Integrated Management of a large European Institution.
Network Infrastructure
- The LAN in the institution buildings (approximately 80 buildings spread over Brussels, Luxembourg for 35000 users and 120000 network connections)
- 5 data centres in 5 distinct sites (15000 network connections)
- The connections between these buildings as WAN
- The interconnection with other providers with dynamic routing and VPN.
Security and Internet Infrastructure
- The security perimeter consists in a multi layer infrastructure of Firewalls and VPN of different vendors.
- The incoming and outgoing accesses with the external world pass through dedicated appliances working as proxies and reverse proxies.
- DNS infrastructure and authentication Servers are part of our domain of competences.
The scope of services extends to the:
- ITIL Design phase
- ITIL Transition phase
- ITIL operation
A team of 42 people is working permanently on-site (Brussels and Luxembourg).
General Activities:
- Design and evolution of network and security infrastructures
o Design key user services by developing security and application performances (Web Application Firewall, Firewalls, load balancing, Reverse Proxy VPN technologies)
o Design multi-data centre architectures
o Design of Strong Authentication System
o Design of management systems.
o Mobile Device Management
- Write Requirements/High level/Low level documentation
- Test and validation of new equipments
- Third level support when infrastructure is operational
Technical knowledge:
Very good understanding of:
o IP network
o IP security
o TCP/UDP IP environment (HTTP, XML, SSL, DNS)
o Scripting (Perl, python)
o Checkpoint and Juniper Firewall
o Vasco authentication system
o Linux (Debian, Redhat)
o Cisco WIFI environment
o Mobile Iron infra.

Location and Timing issues:
