Oracle/ SQL Database Administrator - Cardiff - £40-50,000An exciting new role has emerged in the Cardiff area and Computer Futures are looking for a skilled Oracle/ SQL DBA to join a strong team of DBA's whilst using the latest tools and technologies on the market today.
Your purpose will be to provide a technical service within a dynamic and successful environment and provide an excellent service to end users and loyal company customers.
Key responsibilities:
- Installation of Database Software
- System monitoring
- Backup of databases
- Recovery/ restore of databases
- Database copying and cloning
- Capacity management
- Problem management
- Performance management
Key skills:
- MS SQL Server 2005, 2008, 2008 R2, 2012 & 2014
- Oracle 9i, 10g, 11g, 12c
- Linux
- MS Windows Server 2003, 2008, 2012
