My client, a globally known Hedge Fund is searching for a talented Applications Support Analyst (Buy-Side, Front Office, OMS, SQL, Network, Networking, Operating System Architecture, Application Support, Sybase, Oracle) to join their London based team. It is essential you have previous experience working with a Buy-Side organisation.
As a front office Application Support Analyst (Buy-Side, Front Office, OMS, SQL, Network, Networking, Operating System Architecture, Application Support, Sybase, Oracle) you will be responsible for the following:
- Responsible for the monitoring and support of the in-house applications, from crossing through to trade and transaction reporting
- Support for in-house and third party applications
- Produce reports from Sybase and Oracle databases based on requests from sales trade desk and operations department
- Responsible for the monitoring and support of the in-house applications, from crossing through to trade and transaction reporting
- Produce reports from Sybase and Oracle databases based on requests from sales trade desk and operations department
- Understanding of key Dealing Desk data requirements
As a front office Application Support Analyst (Buy-Side, Front Office, OMS, SQL, Network, Networking, Operating System Architecture, Application Support, Sybase, Oracle) it is essential you have the following skills and experience:
- Strong SQL skills
- Good understanding of OMS, networking, operating systems architecture, message queuing, email delivery, and internet protocols
- Experience with financial applications within an equities environment a big advantage
- Sybase & Oracle 1st level support an advantage
- Experience of working within, investment management, asset management, hedge fund, Forex, prop trading is mandatory
