Your tasks:
- Help design and build a distributed microservices landscape and establish best practices
- Constantly evaluate and challenge the work and processes
- Chance to coach a team of Scala- developers
- Clean code programming
- Use agile methodologies
Your qualifications
- Deep knowledge of Scala
- Knowledge of Java or Python
- Experience with relational (e.g. PostgreSQL) and NoSQL (e.g. Cassandra, Redis) databases
- Enthusiasm for microservices architectures, distributed systems and RESTful APIs
- Experience with building and/or running large-scale applications on a PaaS/SaaS cloud, preferably AWS
- Knowledge of current trends in software design, architecture and web services
- Fluent in English
