Python Developer -Oxfordshire - Up to 60kA new exciting opportunity for a Python Developer to join a global leader of digital signage and IPTV solutions and a proud investor in UK engineering talent.
The company develops high quality, innovative solutions for all types of screen-based communications for applications including retail, advertising networks, corporate communications, education, health, public signage, hospitality and much more.
The successful candidate must be able to show a good track record of bringing products to market, the ability to develop code using best practice principles, be innovative and contributory to the roadmap of businesses product development.
3+ years of commercial Python development
Considerable commercial experience with other languages and approaches. For example, C++ or JavaScript.
Knowledge of Fedora or RHEL administration
Good understanding of and can clearly demonstrate development best practices
Desirable:
Web application development in HTML / CSS / JS.
Open source license compliance
SQL database design, development and administration under Linux

Ability to work with minimum supervision
The creation of Scopes of Work and the adherence to customer requirements
Shows initiative in gaining in-depth experience in areas of technology relevant to the development of company products
