Senior IT Architect

(Business Intelligence, Data Warehouse, Tibco Spotfire, Composite Software, Cisco Data Virtualisation)

We are currently seeking candidates for a Senior IT Architect (Business Intelligence/Data Warehouse) for a 12 month contract assignment in Paris , France.

Contributes to establish and enhance the IT architecture:

Designing IT solutions that meet business requirements related to the Data Integration and Analytics project in line with the IT architectural principles;
More precisely, the IT Architect will be requested to;
Design overall IT Architecture solution for the project, including the identification of the relevant tools, and the way to support Security Policies
Propose an company-wide data model, and work with staff in order to ensure the ability of the model to efficiently support all data of interest
Work with Business Intelligence/Data Warehouse expert in order to ensure the ability of the model to efficiently support BI analytics;
Assist client in the analysis of pros/cons of solutions to support Business Intelligence, Data Virtualisation, and Databases;
Propose client metadata management tools and processes;

Knowledge of BI Analytics, Data Virtualisation (esp. Cisco Information Server/Composite), databases (Talend and Big Data a plus), Data Warehouse
Strong knowledge of state-of-the-art IT methodologies and tools for Data Warehouse, Dimensional Modelling, OLAP, data management (including security policies implementation), metadata management
proven ability in translating technological issues in a business context
Identifying technical solutions for business requirements.
Experience in team/group facilitation, project management and training would be an advantage
Very good analytical skills.
Ability to work under pressure and to deliver to agreed deadlines.
Proven ability to generate a range of possible, also innovative, solutions and to assess the implications of these solutions.
Good interpersonal skills, in particular communication and negotiation skills, and the ability to work in a team and co-ordinate own activities with others.
Very good command of English with proven drafting ability.
