Our client, an IT consultancy, is looking to recruit the services of an experienced Financial Control Manager to work in Edinburgh for a large global banking organisation.
Core duties will include:
- Monthly reporting of product and cost
- Working day 4 & 5 Flash of numbers
- Balance sheet substantiation
- Risk and issues and understanding them
- Resolution/finding solutions
- Gathering information
- Documentation of processes
Required skills:
- Proven Financial Control management experience- ideally looking for candidates who have been generalists in their past roles, as this is a very generalist role
- Professional Accounting qualification - 4 years post qualified
- Proven financial control or reporting background with relevant experience
- Finance sector experience desirable, not essential
- experience of financial reporting/month end/following processes etc
- experience of projects/change and processes.
