I am currently on the look out for an experienced Scala Developer to work on exciting new projects in the government sector.
ROLE: Scala Developer
RATE: £400 - £420 per day
LOCATION: Newcastle-upon-Tyne
LENGTH: 6 months
RESPONSIBILITIES:
You will join a large team of Scala Developers working on new features and applications written in Scala, Play and MongoDB with some use of Akka.
You will adhere to Agile methodologies, Continuous Integration and TDD/BDD with Pair Programming.
The project is part of one of the government office's large-scale digital transformation using cutting-edge technologies.
KEY SKILLS / REQUIREMENTS:
- Strong experience/knowledge of Scala
- Play/Akka
- MongoDB
- MicroServices architecture
- Continuous Integration and TDD/BDD
- Pair Programming and Agile methodologies
